Do you make custom orders? 

At this stage, no. I am just focusing on the current products in the shop. Which I hope everyone can find something that they are drawn to, and enjoy. However I am open to discuss it if you would like to email or Dm me on Instagram. 

What if my product is damaged or broken in transit? 

I will make every effort to work with you to help make a claim with NZ post. Unfortunately the way couriers treat parcels is out of my control. Refunding you or replacing the item will mean I am out of pocket, so it's best to try and target the source of the problem through the offered procedures. However I will at my discretion help you with a new item if I'm able to. Otherwise we can work together to help get you reimbursed by the postage carrier. 

note- all my products are packaged with bubble wrap, extra padding and carefully packed to avoid breakages. 

 

Do you guarantee results? 

While I strongly believe that certain products do serve a purpose and help, it's important to note that not everything will work for everyone in the same ways. When you take an Asprin for a headache you are putting your trust into something outside of your control to help you, it's been prescribed by a medical professional and has been proven to help many before you, but you may not get the effects the same as someone else would. If you aren't contributing to helping the product assist you. You don't take the Asprin for the headache but go to a lots Music concert right? No you need to relax!   Otherwise the Aspron probably won't work right?

With Fixed magick products (I only sell fixed candles and fixed incense resins in the shop) it's the same outlook. A variety of factors must help contribute to you getting results from your products. If you wish to fall pregnant, but are still drinking caffeine heavily, poor diet, you are stressed and run down then you most likely won't get pregnant with the help of a fixed candle. If you over-spend, are bad with saving money, want to win the lotto but you don't buy tickets, and you view money negatively then you most likely won't benefit from the wealth fixed candle in the way you hope. 

It's always important to make sure you are doing everything you can to already help yourself achieve your goals and desired outcomes. The same as the Asprin for the headache. I will not guarantee any of my products to anyone. 

What is "HOODOO & FIXED MAGICK" exactly? 

Now firstly Hoodoo & Voodoo are NOT the same. Voodoo is a set religion, originating in parts of Africa, Benign & Togo.

Hoodoo is a set of spiritual practices, traditions, and beliefs which were created and concealed from slaveholders by enslaved Africans in North America. Hoodoo evolved from various traditional African religions and practices, and in the American South, incorporated various elements of indigenous botanical knowledge.

Practitioners of Hoodoo are called rootworkers, conjure doctors, conjure man or conjure woman, root doctors, Hoodoo doctors, and as slang, “swampers”.

How Hoodoo magic works is by working with the spirits of roots, botanics, herbs, insects, calling ancestors, and other spirits to activate the work for manifestation. Contact with ancestors or other spirits of the dead is an important practice within the conjure tradition. Due to Hoodoo's great emphasis on an individual's spiritual power to affect desired change in the course of events, Hoodoo's principles and products are believed to be accessible for use by any individual. So, anyone can use and benefit from the practice and knowledge of a rootworker.

Now, it’s important to note, that people can not “just start practicing hoodoo/voodoo”. You must be born from it. You must carry the same blood as those who were enslaved. These rituals, knowledge and skills are passed down through family from generation to generation. Meaning it’s not a practice you can adopt. While praying to your ancestors in ritual they MUST be YOUR ancestors. This is where people have been confused in the past. However, Anyone can benefit from it, as it’s a very selfless belief that you look after your community, often putting yourself last. You can’t be strong without your village being strong too right? Much respect should be given to your rootworker. They work under the Manbo (female preistess) and the Hougan (male preist of Hoodoo) they are sought out and chosen by the LWA (spirits, gods). In order to practice Hoodoo, you have to be able to engage with its history. As much as it may sting to hear, white people can’t practice Hoodoo because you can’t call on the ancestors of the oppressors of Black people to engage in Black magical traditions and benefit from black gods.

Now, Voodoo and Hoodoo have a bad reputation in pop culture. Movies. Songs. It’s been portrayed as “black magick” or evil.

It was originally labeled black magick due to the colour of the people who performed it. It’s that simple. Black magick equaled black skin folk. However over time It was branded evil and thought to be about sorcery and devil worship. This was conveniently labeled this by the Christians, who ran and owned slave plantations. If a slave escaped, stole food or tried to defend themselves, they were evil then sentenced to death. We know now days, looking back that any form of confrontation by a slave was classed as an act of the devil. So not so different from the tens of thousands of women across Scotland, Europe and America, in the witch trials. Again, something the church orchestrated. So it’s important to look at history for how events, people and religions were shaped. And how people were lead to believe something about another group of people that wasn’t true. 

Hoodoo is a powerful and purpose driven magick to help propel you closer to your goals, dreams, wants and needs.

Fixed Magick means that the Rootwork magick is already set to an object or product for you. There's no need for you to do your own spells as it's ready to go, it's all fixed up. Meaning you are purchasing a product to do the work for you with your intention. However not all products I make and sell are "Fixed" only a select few.
